Emma is a PhD scholar within Project Halo, having joined the team in September 2025. Her research is focused on establishing critical tolerance thresholds and favourable biogeochemical conditions that support the survival and optimal growth of key mangrove species throughout their lifecycle. This research aims to support the development of Mangrove-Integrated Coastal Infrastructure, facilitating the successful long-term growth of mangroves in innovative engineered designs. Emma is passionate about the application of nature-based solutions to address global challenges and is excited to work with such an experienced and dedicated team.
