Joshua is a PhD scholar with Project Halo. Joshua’s research is focused on the social impacts of coastal restoration, in particular the relationship between climate adaptation and socioeconomic development. This research aims to support community perspectives within international climate governance to ensure local voices, knowledge and wellbeing are valued. Joshua is excited to maintain a collaborative relationship with Fijian communities over multiple years to see the ways coastal restoration adds value to people’s day-to-day life.
